Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Snap the woody ends off the asparagus and cut into 2 inch pieces.
Slice the bread and brush with olive oil.
Lightly coat the wrapped asparagus with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet.
Spread the bread onto a separate baking sheet.
Roast the asparagus in the oven for 10 minutes.
Broil the bread until brown.
To plate, top a bread slice with 3-5 asparagus spears and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and shaved parmesan.
